About us
Nekesa is the Kenyan name given to me by a beloved community who became my extended family during my travels to East Africa. In Swahili, Nekesa means harvest — a fitting word for this beautiful offering.
Tea has always been more than a drink in my life. It’s been a ritual at the dinner table, a moment of calm, a sacred pause. From the sweet teas of my childhood to the bold leaves of Kenya, tea has been my quiet teacher and reminder of self care.
Nekesa’s Teas is a tribute to that journey — my roots, my rhythms, and the many sacred sips along the way.
